1/12/23 Still available! Scout and Stella are a gorgeous pair of outdoor pigs in need of a new home. It's preferred they stay together since they are bonded and love each other. They are both fine with older kids, and also do well with other calm animals as long as food isn't involved. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) They both love to give snout kisses, too!
Scout is very personable. He loves belly rubs and being sprayed with the hose on a hot day. He gets along well with dogs as long as the dog isn’t aggressive.
Stella is also very personable. She loves belly rubs, food, and treats. She really loves being around her pen mate Scout. She's a spirited girl who loves to play!
Transportation is available within 200 miles to the new home.
Stella is not altered so arrangements must be made to spay prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Spaying prevents unwanted litters, curbs behavior problems, and prevents uterine tumors.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
