1/26/24: Still available & in need of new homes! Misty & Libby are two outdoor piggies in need of a home. They currently live together, but are available to adopt separately, too. Both were litter box trained and would go outside to potty, but have been outdoor piggies for a while now. They both do fine with cats. Misty is fine with dogs, but Libby was attacked in her previous home by one and does not do well with dogs. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) Libby grew up in a home with multiple children and does well with them. Misty has done well with kids, but with her being so incredibly food driven, there has been multiple accidents now where she has bitten fingers trying to get to food. Caution should be used with kids, treats should be avoided, and a home without very young children might be best.

Misty is a sweet pig, but she can't see very well anymore. She grew up in the home until she was about 3.5 years old. Once she got biger, they adopted a second pig and kept them both outdoors. They have a nice heated barn and pasture to graze. She knows how to "spin" for treats and still does so. She has a funny personality. She can be sassy at times, so it would probably be best that she go to a home where someone has dealt with pigs previously. She is the dominant pig.

Libby is a very sweet girl. She is much more gentle than Misty. She has always been sweet with kids and her family. She has a little sparkle in her eyes that just melts your heart!

Transportation may available to their new home, but it's preferred if the adopters are able to provide transport.
