Introducing Meg & Daisy! Meg is a cute LITTLE pig - she's especially small for a mini pig. She has walked on tip toe with her front feet since she was young. She takes Meloxicam and Glucosamine daily for her joints. She can be a little slow, but has no problem getting around especially when food is involved! Because of her size, she has always been at the bottom of the piggy pecking order and thus can be a vocal drama queen if she feels threatened in any way. She tolerates petting, but is hesitant.
She has lived with her sister Daisy all of her life and they should be adopted together. (You can read all about Daisy here!)
Both girls are fine with other animals they have met. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) They're both hesitant and avoid contact with strangers at first. They are both boarding at Ross Mill Farm.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
