Introducing Daisy and Meg! Daisy is a sweet and VERY smart pig! As any pig, she is food driven and has learned to unlock various fasteners and get through fences to get to what she wants. She needs to live in an escape proof pig proofed area! She can be hesitant at first with strangers, but enjoys brushing, petting and being sung to. She is in very good health and does not act her age. She loves her piggy pool on hot days!
She has lived with her sister Meg all of her life and they should be adopted together. (You can read all about Meg here!)
Both girls are fine with other animals they have met. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) They're both hesitant and avoid contact with strangers at first. They are both boarding at Ross Mill Farm.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
