5/6/22: Still available. Zepplin is a laid back, but inquisitive piggy. He's very unique in that he does not make much noise vocally. He's not the cuddly type, he's a bit of an independent pig who likes his space, but will let you know when he wants attention. He does enjoy tummy rubs like most pigs, but he's not always in the mood. He was an indoor pig for his 1st three years, but he caused a bit too much destruction inside. The family moved him outside a year or so ago. Unfortunately, their town doesn't allow pigs, and they found out about Zepplin and have told the family he has to be rehomed.
Zepplin is so-so with kids & dogs. He's inquisitive, but he nibbles and can sometimes behave inappropriately by trying to assert dominance. Which can definitely be an issue with children. He is not super aggressive, but can be nippy and pull on pant legs if he's trying to get your attention. He's also been raised with dogs and didn't have issues with them until recently. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) A home without dogs or young children, or where his pen isn't accessible to either, would probably be a better fit for Zepplin. He is housebroken, but would require a very piggy-proofed home/room if allowed inside. He loves his outside time and enjoys grazing.
Transportation is not available, so his adopters will need to pick him up & bring him to his new home.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
