Winston loves toys, water, and playing. He's good with kids of all ages, as well as all other animals he has met. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) He's an outside pig, but the family says he's crate trained and will use a litterbox, although he prefers to go potty outside.
Transportation is available within 25 miles to the new home.
Winston is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
