This handsome guy is Wilbur. He lives here at Ross Mill Farm and is an absolute sweetheart. He lives in the lodge, and while he loves going outside (even when it's cold), he'll come back in and walk around the lodge or relax in his crate for a bit before dinner time. He's not only crate trained and housebroken, but he's great with people and other pigs. He doesn't start fights (although he doesn't tolerate other pigs picking on him), and really gets along with everyone. He is a true gentleman, and boy does he love his belly rubs. He'll flop right over in the middle of the lodge when you find that perfect spot.
As for how he got here, Wilbur was kept in a third floor apartment and didn't get to go outside. Over time, a lack of exercise resulted in too much weight gain. His family brought him here for our weightloss program, and he's doing great with it. Wilbur still has a bit to loose, but he's looking good and gets around great. His family is unfortunately unable to take him back, and has asked RMF to help him find a home where he can happliy graze outside, continue working on his wonderful figure, and be the loving housepiggy he deserves to be for a new family. He is a larger pig.
