Wilbur in Newport News, VA
Wilbur

Meet Wilbur! He loves strolls around the neighborhood and all the neighbors love to see him. He is smart and adventurous, with a sweet and sour personality. He loves belly rubs, playing outside, chewing on crocs, and playing ball. He does well with the dog (dalmatian/pittbull) and they play together. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) Wilbur really loves people and getting his belly rubbed by all ages, but he can play a bit rough at times. He is crate trained, housebroken, and travels well.

Transportation is available to the new home.

Wilbur is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/

Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.

Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
