Wilbur in Austin, TX
Wilbur

10/3/24: Still available, still a sweet & handsome man! Wilbur was dumped on the property about 4 months ago and this sweet piggy needs a home. Because he was dumped, not much is known or confirmed about him - except that he is a real sweetheart! The company that manages the property needs to find this cutie a home before development begins.

Wilbur is sweet. He follows the folks working on the property and delivering hay. He follows the wildlife management company as they fill bird feeders and deer feeders. He like to hang out at the deer feeder and wait for the timer to go off and release corn. He has been on his own for four months so far, and has been managing fine on his own. Despite having been abandoned, he is still a very sweet boy. The workers say Wilbur is like a puppy dog and follows everyone around and loves to get scratches.

Transportation is available within 200 miles to the new home.

It's unconfirmed, but Wilbur appears to be an unaltered adult male. Arrangements must be made to  neuter if he is not already. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor. He looks to be in good shape and at a good weight.
