Waddles was taken in about 6 months ago after his owner didn't want him any longer. The home that took him in cannot keep him long term and is looking for a forever home for him. His foster home says he does well with children of all ages, including 2, 11, 12, 14, and 17 years of age. He also does well with a larger and smaller dogs (Rottweiler and Shih Tzu) and a cat. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) Waddles is a friendly outside piggy. This sweet boy loves to be brushed and pet.
Transportation is available to the new home.
Waddles is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
