3/3/22 Still Available!!! Some new photos were added, too!
Introducing Speckles and Wilbur! They are a sweet pair of housebroken piggies in need of a new home. Wilbur (black) was a rescue and at his neuter appointment the vet said he could be a bit older than Speckles, but it was hard to tell because he was very emaciated. He may be a couple months to a year older than Speckles/the age given on the listing. They are both fixed and sleep inside at night, but they stay outside in the back yard or sleeping on the patio all day.
Wilbur is a very laid back boy, he will fall over at the slightest touch of a belly rub. Speckles (pink with spots) is more independent, she is the boss of the two. They are very bonded and love each other. Speckles is pretty laid back as well, but can get pushy when it comes to food. For example, she will rub on the dad's leg when he's feeding her to let him know she's there and ready. They both like to sunbathe and graze most of the day. On especially hot days, they love a good kiddie pool to sit in!
They don't seem to mind other animals and just aren't interested in them unless they are provoked. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.)
Transportation is not available from the family, so the adopters will need to make arrangements to bring them home.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
There is no adoption fee, but donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
