10/2/24 Still available! Meet Sonic! He's sweet and loves pets, belly rubs, and scratches behind his ears. He gets the zoomies too when the family plays soccer in the yard. He's never had any issues with kids, and the child in the home was 4 when they got Sonic. He has been around dogs and isn't particularly fond of them - he's not bad with them, but not exactly good either. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) Sonic is an outside pig who lives in the backyard and is crate trained.
Transportation is available within 150 miles to the new home.
It is unconfirmed if Sonic is altered or not so arrangements must be made to neuter if he is not already. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
