10/2/24: SNORKEL HAS BEEN NEUTERED! After neutering, his whole personality changed for the better and he's really blossoming into a wonderful young man! The family is only willing to adopt him to a home where he'll get plenty of attention, as he's just such a sweet guy. A pig friend and large pen/yard to roam would be a great bonus!
Meet Snorkel! This cutie was found roaming a week ago, and the family who has been feeding him just found out he was dumped by his old family when they moved. The people who found & corralled him cannot keep him; they just didn't want him to get hit by a car. He's young and seems like a smart guy. He is skittish when the family tries to pet him, but he doesn't run from them and he follows them around. He's been great with the family's dogs so far and seems to really enjoy the company. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.)
Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
