Samson is a full time housepiggy who does not get outside time in his current home. He is litterbox trained and crate trained. Samson is a very special boy who loves tomatoes and ice. He loves to cuddle under blankets while watching tv. He is really quiet but can get a bit of an attitude when his routine is disturbed. He loves to sleep in, and he enjoys ice from the fridge door. He's good with kids and lives around ages 17, 16, 13, and 11. He also has been around babies. He is good with the dog he lives with. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) Samson fist bumps with his nose, sits, jumps, spins, and sometimes will give “besos” (kisses).
Transportation is available within 20-30 miles to the new home.
This pig is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor. Altering piggies when they're young is safer and usually less expensive than waiting until it becomes a problem or a medical emergency.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
