Pumba and four female pigs were abandoned by renters when they moved out. Because they;ve been dumped, not much is known about them. They do seem to get along well with other animals. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.)
Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.
It is unknown if these pigs are altered, so we're assuming they are not altered. Arrangements must be made to spay or neuter. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Spaying prevents unwanted litters, curbs behavior problems, and prevents uterine tumors. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor. Altering piggies when they're young is safer and usually less expensive than waiting until it becomes a problem or a medical emergency.
