Porkchop is a funny boy with a ton of character. His family swears he argues and talks back. He loves ear and belly rubs. The splash pad is his favorite, though! He's good with kids and is around ages 1, 3, 9, and 12. He gets along with the cat and rabbit in the home, too. He is housebroken and goes outside to potty. He enjoys rooting.
Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.
Porkchop is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor. Altering piggies when they're young is safer and usually less expensive than waiting until it becomes a problem or a medical emergency.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
