Poot is a handsome unaltered male in need of a safe home. He keeps breaking out of where he currently lives and it's not safe for him. It's unknown how he'd do around kids, dogs, or cats, but he lives with horses and goats. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) He's a nice pig, but is shy. He really loves his horse buddies.
Transportation is available within 50 miles to the new home.
Poot is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor. Neutering may very well calm te breaking out behavior, as that is common for unaltered males to do so in search of a mate.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
