*Update 6/13/24*: Still Available!
*9/25/23 Still Available!!! New photos added!* Piggy Smalls is a playful outdoor piggy in need of a new home with the resources that can provide proper care for him. He does well with kids ages 13 & up, as well as with dogs. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) However, he's not neutered, so he will hump dogs - and women! He likes to run the fence, chase, and play. He loves his blue pool, belly rubs, and even likes to be petted with a straw broom. He will follow you anywhere if he hears you pouring food in a bucket.
Transportation is available to his new home within 40 miles. Smalls travels well.
Piggy Smalls is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor. Altering piggies when they're young is safer and usually less expensive than waiting until it becomes a problem or a medical emergency.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
