Meet Pete! This cutie pie is a neutered indoor piggy who enjoys his yard time and could transition to fully outdoor or remain an indoor piggy as long as he has easy outside access and plenty of yard time. He is better with older children, as he gets a bit nervous around little ones. Time spent around younger children is monitored closely. He does fine with dogs & cats. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) Pete is crate trained and housebroken.
Pete loves to sleep, lay in the sun, and LOVES food. He enjoys belly scratches and being brushed. He is very cute and opinionated. He is good at expressing what he wants whether that be food, water, potty time, or love. Pete can do "spin" for treats, and he can also do "up" (although that one used to be a little easier when he was smaller!).
As he is getting older, his family has built a ramp on the back deck for him to easily get to the back yard to go to the bathroom and this works very well for him! He prefers to be outside more than inside and would do great on a farm where he can still find some shelter from the sun/weather when necessary or in an indoor setting where he can easily access the yard.
