Penny and Etta are a bonded pair of outdoor pigs who need a new home. They are mellow ladies who still get the zoomies when you play with them outside, but mostly they enjoy spending the day lounging around. They do fine with kids, as long as they aren't messing with them and bothering them. They are docile around other animals. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) They are housebroken.
Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.
Their alter status is unknown/unconfirmed, so we are assuming they are not altered. Arrangements be made to spay if they are not already. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Spaying prevents unwanted litters, curbs behavior problems, and prevents uterine tumors.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
