10/7/24: Still available and new photos added! Look at this handsome cutie pie! Peanut's family is having a hard time taking care of him as he has become a handful and hard to maintain. He loves tomatoes and fruit. He knows his name so he'll come when someone calls him - if he's feeling like it, that is! He's an outside pig who has never had vet care.
Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.
Peanut is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
