Introducing Morticia! She is a housebroken and crate trained piggy. She is super lazy and loves to cuddle. She sleeps a lot and loves to eat. She loves to be scratched all over: behind her ears, legs, and belly are her favorite places. She can be stubborn sometimes and isn't a fan of water, but tolerates it. Morticia doesn't like the mud or getting her nails trimmed. She is very good with dogs, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, and chickens. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) It's unknown how she'd do around children, but caution should be used as she had kids abuse her in her first year of life.
Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.
Morticia is not altered so arrangements must be made to spay prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Spaying prevents unwanted litters, curbs behavior problems, and prevents uterine tumors. Altering piggies when they're young is safer and usually less expensive than waiting until it becomes a problem or a medical emergency. She may need to be dieted until she's at a lower weight - you should discuss this with your vet.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
