MAGGIE POO in Starke, FL
MAGGIE POO

5/2/23 Still Available! Introducing Maggie Poo! She was rescued from a hoarding situation in North Carolina in 2018. She's an awesome spayed outside piggy in need of a new home where she'll get more attention. She is great with children 5 years and up, but toddlers are unknown. Maggie is good with roosters, hens, kittens, cats, and the occasional opossum. She's housebroken & goes outside to potty; she lives in a barn with pasture area. The only time she's been in a vehicle was when the family moved from NC to FL 3 years ago, but she did well on the drive then.

Here's what Maggie Poo's mom says about her: "She is very laid back and likes to graze when temperature permits. In the summer she is a hoot, Maggie will want her hose shower and her mud hole filled so she can wallow in it. She loves it when my mom gives her scratches behind the ear and when its time for treats that the kids give her. Sometimes a passing car will honk and she does this running and jump up kick that makes everyone laugh and then she'll turn and run the other way with the cats trailing behind her. There are times when she gets up on the wrong side of the bed and those days we just leave her be and she's fine by afternoon. Maggie doesn't like to be hugged or touched by people she doesn't know, just give her time and a couple treats and she comes around fairly easy."

Transportation is not available, so the adopters will need to make arrangements to bring Maggie to her new home. Maggie's mom can help towards transportation costs, and will also have a new bag of her food for her to take to the new home.
