Lucy in Omaha, NE
Lucy

Introducing Lucy! This adorable senior is a lovely indoor piggy who is housebroken and goes outside to potty. She is being rehomed due to a move. Lucy is fine with kids & dogs. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) She enjoys ample naps and loves belly rubs. She is famous in Bellevue for changing the local domestic animal law.

Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.

Lucy is not altered. Typically, PPN requires spaying, but given her age, your vet may not wish to take the risk of spaying. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Spaying prevents unwanted litters, curbs behavior problems, and prevents uterine tumors. You should discuss spaying with your vet to see what is best for Lucy.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/

Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
