Lourdes is a 1-month-old Kune/Potbelly Cross piglet. She is currently 1 of 36 pigs in need of homes from an accidental breeding situation within our community. The herd is referenced as the "Elberton Kunes". Our organization is helping vet adopters and make sure pigs are spayed and neutered and up to date on necessary vetting before going to forever homes.

Lourdes currently lives with many other piglets and mother pigs and is going to need someone very gentle, patient, and kind once she is weaned and ready to be socialized.

If you can give Lourdes this, she will reward you with the most fulfilling love. Lourdes is currently nursing and being vetted for adoption; She is available for pre-adoption.

Like most pigs, Lourdes will need some time to decompress in a new environment and get to know her new family. She has the potential to be such a loving, affectionate family member, she just needs someone who can help her come out of her shell and trust people.

Pigs are happiest with companion pigs, so it is our preference that Lourdes is adopted with a fellow herd mate or goes to a home where she will have another pig to live with.
