Larry in Watertown, CT
Larry

Larry is a lovely lady in need of a home that can give her the space and attention she needs to thrive. She's a super sweet and empathetic girl who has helped her mom through a difficult year. She always greats you with a smile on her face and loves belly rubs. She's good with kids, although her large size can pose issues with little ones, especially as she plops down for belly rubs. Older kids or children who are used to being around larger animals may be a better fit with Larry. She does well with cats, but the dog in the home isn't a fan of Larry so they are kept apart and it's unknown how she'd do with other dogs. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.)

Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.

Larry is not altered so arrangements must be made to spay prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Spaying prevents unwanted litters, curbs behavior problems, and prevents uterine tumors.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/

Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.

Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
