1/14/24 Still Available! Not getting much outside time anymore, and a new home where she has easy outside access and a nice sized yard would be amazing for Luna!
Luna is a loving and sweet girl with her mom. She does well with kids and lives with a 10 and 13 year old, and she enjoy getting belly rubs and being brushed by them. She's being rehomed because the small dog (pug) and her do not get along. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) Having them separated is keeping them safe, but it's not a great situation, and the family has tried quite a bit in the time they've had them without any resolution. Luna is also a bit overweight and is having trouble getting up & down the stairs. A home with no steps to get outside would be preferable, as that's better in general for pigs regardless of weight, especially as they get older.
Luna is harness trained and housebroken, going potty outside. She's also spayed and up to date on her shots.
Transportation is available to her new home, to be discussed with qualified adopters.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
