Kevin is in need of a new home with secure fencing who can get him neutered. He keeps escaping and rooting the yard. PPN suggests hog panel & t-posts, although once neutered, the "escape & roam" behavior should tone down.
Kevin likes his belly and behind his ears scratched. He's never bothered kids or other animals like dogs or cats. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.)
Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.
Kevin is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
