Henry & Hamilton in East Highland, CA
Henry & Hamilton

Henry and Hamilton are a pair of unaltered male pigs in need of a home due to their current home being sold. They are crate trained, but not fully housebroken. Henry is pretty calm. He's a sweet boy gets along with other animals. Hamilton's a little bossy and can be snappy at times. They are good with kids ages 7-17, as well as with dogs. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.)

Transportation is available within 80 miles to the new home.

These boys are not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor. Altering piggies when they're young is safer and usually less expensive than waiting until it becomes a problem or a medical emergency.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/

Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
