2/28/24 Still available! This cutie is an unaltered house piggy who is housebroken & crate trained. His dad is disabled, and that paired with a zoning restriction means that Henry needs a new home. He isn't great with kids anymore, so a home without little ones would be best. He does fine with dogs. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) Henry is a smart boy who will go outside with his dad and behaves well, sticking by and not wandering off. He definitely needs to be neutered as he's developed some non-ideal behaviors, which may be remedied once his hormones are in check. He's a good guy who enjoys hanging out with his dad, he just needs a home that allows pigs and a vet to take care of all that extra pesky testosterone.
Transportation is available within 50 miles to the new home. He travels well.
Henry is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
