Handsome Hamlet is a gorgeous male piggy who was rescued with help from many piggy people in the area and taken to foster at Head Over Hooves Farm. While he's only been there a short time, he's already had a hoof and tusk trim, and saw Dr Wilbers on 10/29/24 to be neutered, microchipped, and get his rabies shot. Handsome is ready to find his forever home! 

His prior family lost their home unexpectedly and couldn't afford proper vet care. They have said that he's good with kids of all ages. He does get the zoomies and can be a little forceful for attention and food at times, so use caution with little ones so he doesn't knock anyone over by accident. He grew up with 4 dogs, a cat, a goat, chickens, and ducks. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) He was scared of the chickens and ducks, though!

Handsome loves his tummy scratches and getting scritches all over. He's too smart for his own good and has learned to open gates and get things from places higher than you think a pig could reach. He loves attention in general, but hates his hooves and tusks touched. He's a really great boy who needs a loving home! He listens most of the time. He is harness trained and housebroken (going outside to potty). 

Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.
