George is a handsome outdoor piggy who appears to be a kune kune or kune mix. The town he lives in recently told the family they aren't allowed to have him any longer and he needs to be rehomed. He is pretty lazy and napping is a favorite activity of his. He is a little stubborn and doesn't like having to move out your way. He's never been around kids or other animals, so it is unknown how he would do with them.
Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.
George is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor. Altering piggies when they're young is safer and usually less expensive than waiting until it becomes a problem or a medical emergency.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
