8/6/24 Still available!!!
Introducing Earl! He was rescued from craigslist, where a teenager was feeding him dog food in a garage as a baby. He's now living in an outside pen with a shelter, but the family isn't able to get a second pig and thinks he'd be happier with a buddy and more space to roam. He is very food motivated - but he is on a strict diet, since the vet said he was getting a little pudgy! He isn't housebroken, but he does potty in one spot so the family thinks he would be fairly easy to potty train. He follows his family on walks around the property to try to trim up.
Earl is good with kids and lives with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, tortoise, and a few others. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) He LOVES the chickens. He will flip right over for belly rubs, and comes running when you shake his food scoop. He is neutered.
Transportation is not available from his family, so the adopter will need to be able to bring Earl to his new home.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
