3/2/24 Still available! Introducing Duke! This handsome boy is an indoor piggy who gets yard time. He's housebroken and crate trained. He doesn't like cold weather. He loves to be pet and run around. He gets very talkative at times. He like to play with balls that make noise.
Duke seems to like everyone, he just loves people. He's also good with other animals he's met, like cats & dogs. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.)
Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.
Duke is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor. Duke does hump.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
