Dinner from Swainsboro GA

5/15/23 Still available! Dinner was owned by someone who moved due to a hurricane. They left her behind and never came back. The people caring for her don't have much time for her and feel that since her past family has abandoned her, she deserves more than they can provide. (Please note: the people rehoming did not name her.)

It's unknown how she'd do around kids, and the family believes she may be scared of dogs. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) She's shy girl who is familiar with humans, but not wanting to be close to them. She has lived in a pen for as long as she's been in her current home. In the past, she had a pig friend and they seemed to get along.

Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.

Dinner is not altered so arrangements must be made to spay prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Spaying prevents unwanted litters, curbs behavior problems, and prevents uterine tumors.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/

Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.

Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
