Daisy is a special needs pig in need of a patient and caring home that can put her on a diet (she's fat blind) and work with her behavior issues. She is not good with children or other animals and will try to bite. Daisy used to come when called, sit on command (both with rewards), and is house trained, although she hasn’t been in the house in years.
Her dad said the following: "Daisy is fat-blind and consequentially quite fearful. She’s not friendly, will be playful with me but will try to bite everyone else. She’ll eat treats out of my hand very gently but is not guaranteed to be gentle with anyone else. She likes to be scratched behind her ears, belly rubs, other gentle petting. She has never experienced anything but kind and loving treatment. When small, she used to sleep with my daughter, and was house trained at a young age with virtually no effort."
It's unknown if transportation would be available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements. Her dad may be able to assist.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
