Cornelius and Templeton are a pair of unaltered outdoor brothers in need of a home due to an upcoming move. They have been fed by children with no issues. They are good with dogs, cats, goats, and sheep. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.)
They are smart boys who love mud. Templeton likes water hose showers, but Cornelius is not a fan of direct water hose contact. They like to break out of their pen and set the other animals free so they can all roam the property. A solid and secure fence (we recommend hog panel & t-post) will be necessary for these crafty boys, although getting them neutered will likely go a long way in helping to prevent future jail breaks.
Transportation is available to the new home.
Cornelius and Templeton are not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals.Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor. Altering piggies when they're young is safer and usually less expensive than waiting until it becomes a problem or a medical emergency.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
