Charlotte in Cohutta, GA
Charlotte

Charlotte is a very loving girl who really enjoys belly rubs. She enjoys laying in a pool on warm days. She also loves any sort of attention. She gets excited and will run circles and jump and squeal. If you sit by her and rub her belly, she will still lay in your lap because she still thinks she is a piglet. If you lay down, she will lie next to you and nap. Charlotte has interacted with children from 1-19 years of age. She has also been around cats and dogs and the neighbor's chickens would come to visit and Charlotte didn't mind any of them. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.)

Charlotte is housebroken and will use a litterbox but prefers to just go potty outside. She has been living outside since they moved and it hasn't been an ideal situation. She needs a loving home where she can run and play and be safe. She has escaped her pen in the new home near the highway. Thankfully, her mom was home and was able to save her, but she's terrified if she escapes again, she'll be hurt or killed.

Transportation is available within 30 miles to the new home.

Charlotte is not altered so arrangements must be made to spay prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Spaying prevents unwanted litters, curbs behavior problems, and prevents uterine tumors.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/

Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.

Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
