Meet Boris! He loves belly rubs, enjoys the sun, and likes being let loose to run around the yard and explore. He listens very well and responds to his name. Boris is a friendly guy who is good with kids (ages 10, 11, 13) as well as other animals he has met. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.)
Transportation is available within 60 miles to the new home.
Boris is not altered so arrangements must be made to neuter prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Neutering prevents behavior issues and eliminates that classic boar odor.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
