Blackberry in Philadelphia, PA
Blackberry

Blackberry is a full time housepiggy who doesn't get outside time and is looking for a home that has the space for her and to give her yard time. She does well with children ages 11-17, as well as with other animals like cats & dogs. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) She's a drama queen and loves attention. But she also likes to cuddle! Blackberry knows "sit". She has trouble with the steps into the home, so a home with an easy walk out/no steps to get outside is needed. She's housebroken and uses a litterbox.

Transportation is available within 30 miles to the new home. She travels well.

Blackberry is not altered so arrangements must be made to spay prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Spaying prevents unwanted litters, curbs behavior problems, and prevents uterine tumors. Altering piggies when they're young is safer and usually less expensive than waiting until it becomes a problem or a medical emergency.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/

Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.

Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
