Introducing Bernie and Betsy! They are a sweet pair of outside piggies in need of a new home. They are bonded, so a home that can adopt both pigs is preferred. They've been around teens and are good with them. They also do well with the three large breed dogs, one cat, and two ponies in the family. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.) Betsy will come up to you and want belly rubs. She will plop at your feet and literally fall asleep as soon as you rub her belly for a minute. Bernie typically just roams the pasture with his sister, enjoying eating up the grass. He is pretty mellow, but does start grunting when he knows its feeding time int the morning.
Transportation is available to the new home.
Bernie is neutered, but Betsy is not spayed. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Spaying prevents unwanted litters, curbs behavior problems, and prevents uterine tumors.
