Bella is a pretty indoor piggy who is housebroken and goes outside to potty. She will let you know when she is ready to come in. She is great with kids. She obeys commands and is very smart. She will not sleep on the ground; if you don't make her a bed she will make her own! She is very lovable and enjoys chatting with you. She will try to get your attention by nibbling on your ankles (she is not trying to bite). Bella gets along and was raised with dogs & cats. (Dogs and pigs should always be supervised and never left alone when together.)
Transportation is not available, so the adopter will need to make arrangements.
Bella is not altered so arrangements must be made to spay prior to adoption. Intact pigs do not make the best companion animals. Spaying prevents unwanted litters, curbs behavior problems, and prevents uterine tumors.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application and mention the name, city, and state of the pig(s) you're interested in: https://www.pigplacementnetwork.org/online-adoption-application/
Qualified homes must 1) be in a zone friendly community, 2) locate a vet that will care for pet pigs, 3) own their home.
Donations to PPN are greatly appreciated so we can continue to help pigs.
