Apple is one of the sweetest pigs we have had at Longmeadow in quite some time. Her kind, soft demeanor stands out amongst the rest of our pig population. She is gentle and loves attention from staff members, especially if you bring her some of her favorite veggies. Apple keeps a clean enclosure and prefers to do her "business" outside in her run. She spends her days taking naps in her hay, grazing in the grass, and getting belly rubs.

You may notice that Apple is missing her ears, or rather, ear flaps. Although we are unsure how this came to be (she arrived to Longmeadow with no ear flaps), we do not believe it effects her hearing. She still answers to our calls and can hear the world around her, especially when we shake her breakfast. Due to the lack of scarring (Apple only has holes where her ears would be), we believe she may have been born this way. But don't let this sway your opinion of this beautiful girl! We think her ear-less look is endearing, and she certainly does not seem to mind one bit!

Apple has been spayed and is up to date on all of her vaccines. She is ready for her forever home!
