Meet Adeline! Adeline is a female potbelly pig who came to Longmeadow from another rescue. We believe her shy nature comes from a past of neglectful care. It took time for Adeline to start trusting our staff members here at the Ranch. She was not fond of attention and didn't enjoy the presence of humans. Adeline has never shown us an aggressive side. She was just timid and unsure. After lots of extra care and enrichment through the months following her arrival, Adeline started to come around. Now, she is much more tolerable having people around her! We think with some extra time, attention, and maybe a few pig treats, Adeline will make friends with you in no time. She is intelligent and we think after some bonding, she could be trained to do many tricks! We also think she'd be a great candidate for litter box training! Adeline cannot wait to find her special person and forever home!
